Dr. Efrem S. Alambar was born in Winter, TX., but raised in Levelland, TX.  After graduating from South Plain Junior College with an assiciate degree in Science and West Texas State University with a Bachelor in Chemistry and Biology,  Dr. Alambar attended optometry school at the University of Houston.  He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1986.  He joined Lubbock Eye Clinic in January 2011 and practiced full-time at Lubbock Vision on Slide and 4th.  Dr. Alambar's specialty is ocular disease, contact lens fitting, and co-management of refractive surgery.
